STORY OF VI AND WHAT VI MEANS TO US

Created from a life-long dream and life-long dedication to the craft, VI was first thought of 12 years ago. Sarah (Owner & Creative Director) dedicated her entire life to the industry. Starting at Dunkin Donuts over 10 years ago and then starting her journey as a line cook, working her way up the culinary ladder, she set out on a journey to learn every aspect of owning and perfecting the “gourmet fast casual”.  A Perfect blend of all of the coffee shops and high-end restaurants that she worked at throughout her life. Providing high quality-quickly made-to-order dishes. VI is the embodiment of being different, pushing the boundaries of comfort, creating, and going against the norm in terms of flavors and textures. 

WHY IS IT VI?

 VI is a Roman numeral six. The purpose of the name “6” is to be different. Rather than a name, a number is unique and different, just like us! We knew that everyone would ask how to pronounce the name or say it as “Vee” or “ Vie” and the purpose was for someone else to say “Hey it’s six!” A name you could never forget, it’s a marketing gimmick and conversation starter in and of itself, and we love it that way. Slightly annoying but slightly humorous, that’s us!
